Common questions
What is key-person risk?
Key-person risk is the exposure your business faces when critical knowledge, skills, relationships or decision-making are concentrated in one or a small number of individuals. If that person leaves, becomes unavailable or is incapacitated, the business loses the capability they held.
How is the score calculated?
Each yes/no question scores 0 (low risk answer) or 2 (high risk answer). Each 1–5 scale question scores 5 minus your answer, so a score of 1 (worst) gives 4 points and a score of 5 (best) gives 0. The total is out of 20.
